Catherine Makin (Anthropology, Trevelyan, 2005-08) was awarded a prestigious Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship in 2017. Under this Fellowship she travelled to the USA and Canada to understand how organisational factors enable or inhibit innovation within city governments, seeking learning that could benefit city governments in the UK.
