We are emailing you today about establishing a Durham alumni group in Vietnam through the organisation of regular events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. We believe it’s a great opportunity to create an active network and exchange on our different experiences.

Johann Marion
I am originally from Switzerland but I spent 4 years working in Tokyo and recently moved to Hanoi to develop a business activity in real estate and investment management.

Anh Carrick
I am a Finance Director of C&T Accountants Ltd, an independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in London. I had in-depth knowledge of finance and accounting with 13 years' experience working for public, private and charity sectors in both Vietnam and the UK. I graduated from Durham University with a MA in Human Resource Management specializing different cultures in the companies, and my dissertation was about conflicts and solution between UK employers and Vietnamese labor in Vietnam. I also have a Postgraduate certificate in finance and a Chartered Certified Accountant. I am the General Secretary of the Vietnamese Community in the UK and a board member of Vietnamese Private Business. I am also the treasurer of Stitches in time-a charity supporting education and equality. Recently Kah Tan and I established C & T Education Company in order to support Vietnamese students come to the UK for studying and to bring British education to Vietnam.
