Delia-Maria Asser (Modern Languages, St Aidan's College, 2011-15) has reached the finals of the 15th series of MasterChef UK.
Ella Parry-Davies (Arts Combined, St Cuthbert's Society, 2007-11) was named a 2019 'New Generation Thinker' and will be speaking at the Radio 3 Free Thinking Festival.
Gabriel Cantu (Law, St Cuthbert's Society, 2005-08) accepted a position as in-house counsel for a Native American tribe located in Bellingham, the Lummi Nation. Gabriel is the only Durham law grad to ever have taken such a position.
Gavin Murphy (Law, International and European Legal Studies, Graduate Society, 1997-98) hosted Durham University alumni and friends for his annual holiday season party in Ottawa for the eighth consecutive year. There were a record 20 guests in attendance with graduates ranging from the class of 1958 to a 2008 alumnus. Margaret Manchester (Archaeological Survey, 1999-2001) business 'Durham Hens Limited' won 'Best Rural Retail Business' at the Rural Business Award national final in Worcestershire.
Mel Ayton (Historical Research, 1985-87) will have a new edition of his book The Forgotten Terrorist published in May with a Foreword by Harvard Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz.

Sue Primmer (English Literature, 1987-94) Director of Marketing & Communications at financial services consultancy Catalyst Development Ltd has been invited to receive the Freedom of the City of London. Her invitation comes as part of a move by the City of London Corporation to recognise ‘100 Women’, a century after women first gained the vote.
Tiffany Hall (Natural Sciences, Trevelyan College, 1982-85) is Cancer Research UK's CIO and was recently named CIO of the Year at the Women in IT Awards, the world's largest tech diversity event dedicated to tackling the sector's gender imbalance.
