St Mary’s College

Through the generosity of our alumni and to celebrate 125 years, St Mary’s College is offering up to twenty-five £1000 bursaries to students from lower-income backgrounds.

Van Mildert College

Van Mildert celebrated Burns Night, the birthday of Scottish poet Robert Burns, in its first formal of 2024. Attendees enjoyed singing, haggis and tartan, followed by a ceilidh.

St John’s College

We have celebrated the inauguration of Professor Jolyon Mitchell as Principal at a special service with the Archbishop of York.

Members of our world-leading Department of Archaeology have shed new light on children’s health during the Industrial Revolution in North East England, working alongside the University of Otago, New Zealand.
