Durham alumni and guests are invited to join the Durham University Switzerland Alumni Chapter for an informal gathering over drinks at O' Les Terrasses du Lac, Nyon, near Geneva on Thursday 16 September from 6pm onwards (you are welcome to stay and eat!). Whether you are local to Nyon, or are simply passing through, come along to enjoy good company and the breath-taking views of Lake Geneva which O' Les Terrasses du Lac is renowned for.

Events and Covid-19

The health and wellbeing of our alumni and supporter community is our utmost priority as we begin to see the return of in-person events. We look forward to seeing you again at events around the world organised and hosted by dedicated volunteers from the Durham community. The University asks all event attendees to follow local government Covid-19 guidance, as appropriate at the time of the event, as well as any other measures imposed by the event organiser and venue as they see fit to protect the health and wellbeing of guests.

In order to help in such variable times, should you no longer wish to attend an event after registration, you do not need to provide advance notice to the University or Event Host. We will continue to prioritise the safety of attendees at in-person events and offer online and hybrid event options as alternatives for of all members of the community.
