Early-career London Alumni Chapter Event

Graduated from Durham in the last 5 years? Come to this online event to hear about how to find, hold and move jobs... even during a global pandemic! This interactive event will be held over Zoom, and will make up for not meeting in person with a panel of Durham alumni who graduated in the last 10 years and now work in the civil service, tech, logistics and marketing. See below more information about the panel!

Alumni from other regions are welcome to attend too.

Jessica Lythgow, Asda Graduate Leadership Programme- Halloween and Events Buyer

Jess graduated from Josephine Butler College in 2017. Since graduating, she has been based in Leeds, completing the Asda Commercial Graduate Programme earlier this year. She currently works as Asda’s Lead Halloween and Events Buyer, with a focus on international procurement from Southeast Asia.












Freddie Ridell, Senior Frontend Web Developer

Freddie graduated from Trevelyan College in 2016, with a degree in Computer Science. He then co-founded a software startup that he ran for 2 years, before becoming a self-employed frontend contractor, building websites and webapps for several different software companies.




Kavneet Jolly, Department of Health and Social Care, Senior Policy Advisor
Kavneet graduated from Van Mildert College in 2017, with a degree in Economics. Since then she’s got getting stuck in to a range of exciting high profile projects including building a counter fraud profession, reforming social housing safety, and everything to do with the prisons system and justice. Since completing the Fast Stream earlier this year, she’s been working in Adult Social Care Covid-19 testing in DHSC.







Max Puller. Director of Employee and Change Communications at Sodexo
Max graduated from University College in 2013, with a Degree in Music. Since then he has had a number of roles in the public and private sector, including Chief Communications Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence. He is currently the Director of Employee and Change Communications at Sodexo, leading the team team responsible for reaching, engaging and inspiring 31,000 employees working across 2,000+ sites in the UK and Ireland.
