The Botanic Garden at Durham has been closed to the public for most of this year now, due to the global pandemic. But life in the garden has not stopped!
Since lockdown began in March 2020, Head Gardener Mike Hughes has been taking care of the garden and documenting its progress in his blog. He's kept us in touch with the changing seasons in the garden with some amazing pictures.
Mike will take us on a tour of life in the garden over the past few months with stories of the mushroom archway, Durham mustard, the playing dead plant and more. With some special characters from badgers to butterflies and trees to tulips.
