What kind of people make up the Durham alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals?
The alumni I have met so far are migrants to Australia, like myself, but have been living here for many years, unlike myself. 

What inspired you to sign up as an alumni volunteer?
Having just moved to Australia, I saw it as an opportunity to meet new people, make some new friends, reminisce about Durham and test out the city’s best venues.

What do you love most about your current location?
The Adelaide area is well known for its gourmet culture. I am enjoying fine wine tasting and the stunning local produce in the many surrounding wine regions, such as the world famous Barossa Valley.
