What was the most valuable lesson you learnt whilst at Durham? That you’re very much the master of your own destiny. Opportunities are out there, just make sure you do whatever you can to take advantage. As a student you often take the path of least resistance, but you never know where trying new things may lead. What are your fondest memories of Durham?Durham is where I met my wife! A lot of the positives in my life now stem from my time at Durham. What kind of people make up the Durham alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals? The alumni community is made up of people from across all colleges and years, and of people now working within a wide range of industries all over the North West. The one commonality is that everyone is always very enthusiastic and nostalgic about their time at Durham!
