YouAfter having achieved my PhD I continued working at the University of Foggia (Italy), where I upgraded my position to Associate Professor of Economics in July 2015. In Foggia I live with my wife Claire and my two children Thomas George and Emma Victoria.Your Durham InspirationTo me, Durham represents the place where I really challenged myself from an academic perspective: a period of hard work mixed with the joy of seeing the development of my research idea under valid supervision which gave me the opportunity to expand my view on the issue I was dealing with. A particular memory of my life in Durham is that of walking to Durham Cathedral (... even on some very cold and wet winter nights) to admire that magnificence when I needed to relax my mind. The academic environment of Durham University has inspired me significantly, and the international dimension of my research and teaching activity is the most evident result of that inspiration.
Pass It OnWork hard and enjoy your life as a student. Keep in mind that our personal life achievements and the social utility of what we do depends on the education we receive. Durham University is the perfect place to shape all of this.
