Dunelm Society and Music Durham Alumni Concert
Royal College of Music, Prince Consort Road, London

Tuesday 5 April, 6.45 – 8.30pm

Join our musical community for a wonderful evening of music in the glorious surroundings of Royal College of Music’s Performance Hall. The programme includes a distinctly Durham flavour with performances of Arvo Pärt’s ethereal Morning Star, based on the prayer inscribed above the tomb monument of St. Bede in Durham Cathedral and Sir Malcolm Arnold’s whimsical Trevelyan Suite, written for the opening of Trevelyan College in 1968. The University Alumni Chamber Choir will feature in the concert as well as alumni wind and string ensembles with a collection of soloists, accompanists and conductors from our spectacularly talented musical alumni.
