This year’s venue for the Dunelm Society Dinner in London is a spectacular eighteenth century hidden gem in the City. Built in 1735, Armoury House, is the headquarters of the Honourable Artillery Company Regiment. We will dine in the magnificent Long Room which is hung with an array of portraits and flags on beautiful wood panelled walls. 

Our speaker is the distinguished librarian Richard Ovenden OBE. He attended St Chads College at Durham and graduated in 1985. His current post is that of Bodley's Librarian in the University of Oxford, appointed in 2014. He is Director of the Bodleian Library's Centre for the Study of the Book and holds a Professorial Fellowship at Balliol College. Richard is a trustee of the Chawton House Library.
