The Department of Finance has been recently established in 2022. This online alumni gathering aims to foster a closer connection within and across cohorts of the MSc Finance programme for students based in China.

We warmly invite you to attend our upcoming event Financial Career Development in Shanghai with special guest speaker Dr Hua Jun (Finance, Ustinov College, 2006-2011) having secured a PhD in Finance from Durham University in addition to a Bachelor of International Finance from Fudan University, CFA. Dr Jun is currently Head of Private Equity Investment Business and has over 10 years of experience in quantitative investment, he had previously served as the head of Quants of Huachuang Securities Asset Management Department, senior analyst of Financial Engineering Department of Shenwan Hongyuan Research Institute, investment manager of derivatives of Tianfeng Securities; In-depth research on quantitative strategies and quantitative private equity products, and long-term cooperation with private equity managers. Dr Jun will talk about recent trends in careers for Finance graduates in Shanghai.
