Charlotte Bilney (BA Modern Languages, 1990 College of St Hild & St Bede)
Charlotte is Co-CEO for APAC at global financial and corporate communications consultancy Citigate Dewe Rogerson. She has been with this firm in Hong Kong for 23 years and has worked with many of the world’s biggest financial brands, from Fidelity and State Street to Blackstone and Morgan Stanley, helping them manage their public reputations across Asia Pacific. She has also helped grow the profile of fledgeling start-ups and newcomers to the region. One area she has developed into a particular expertise is in media training, working with the most senior executives in a firm to deliver their message and tell a compelling story. Before coming to Hong Kong and joining CDR she worked for five years at insurance firm Sun Alliance in the UK, at first on their graduate training programme and then in various operational roles until she realized what she really wanted to do! Charlotte has brought up three children while in Hong Kong and is a firm believer in creating the right opportunities for working mothers and encouraging women to not feel they have to choose.
