‘Hope in the Wound: Resurrection and Moral Injury’

The inaugural Vann Fellow (and former USAF Officer), Revd Dr Brian Powers, will give the lecture, ‘Hope in the Wound: Resurrection and Moral Injury’, based on his recent research.
Revd Dr Powers is the inaugural holder of the Vann Fellowship at Durham University, a unique three-year postdoctoral fellowship dedicated to the study of the relationship between Christianity and the armed forces - in the past, in the present, and into the future.
The lecture and Q&A will take place in the Field Marshals’ Room from 5.30pm – 6.30pm, with a drinks reception to follow, before close at 7pm. Dress code is business attire.
The lecture is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Please email tim.guinan@durham.ac.uk by Friday 8 November to reserve a seat. Capacity is limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
