Durham Inspired: Live in Lockdown
A Look Behind the Scenes of Durham’s Special Collections

Wednesday 22 July 2020, 6pm (BST)

Our colleagues from the Archives and Special Collections team join us to share some of the treasures they are privileged to work with and look after for future generations.

Archivist Michael Stansfield, librarian Danielle Westerhof, and conservator Tony King will take us through the different aspects of the team’s work. We’ll learn about the archive of Durham University and how that reflects the our history, the rare books that we are privileged to hold, and a taster of the sort of conservation work that is necessary to help keep all these wonderful resources accessible.

The team will be happy to answer questions about their work so if you’ve ever been curious – now’s your opportunity.
