Happy Thursday everyone! Hope you are all feeling fit and healthy this week. Excellent work to everyone who has already tackled Monday’s bodyweight workout. View the leader board here to view the scores so far.

If you think you can unseat them as leaders, make sure you give this workout a go and get your score in by 23:59 on Sunday 14 February. Also, this isn’t a competition so do give this workout a try regardless of what score you think you might get.

Week 5 Cardio

Choose Your Difficulty Distance Challenge
Select your mode of travel: run, cycle, walk, roll, row, etc.
Select your time domain: 30min, 45 min, 1 hour

This week we are building on the past 4 weeks of cardio with an added element of choice. Select your mode of travel and then choose how long you would like to do that activity for. The purpose of this challenge is to allow you the flexibility to continue to workout within the confines of any local COVID or weather-related restrictions. The aim, once again, is to get as far as possible within the time available. Also, you can certainly make a shorter time domain more challenging by increasing intensity. The difficulty of this workout is yours to choose.

You can join in the fun on Strava by joining one of the following events in the Durham University Alumni & Friends Group:

After you’ve warmed up and you are ready to start, set your Strava app away, start moving, and see how far you can get in your chosen time domain.

Don’t forget to keep an eye on your distance as you approach the 30min, 45min or 1-hour mark.
